Tideway is a professional network for the maritime industry. Use your real identity and accurate professional details. One account per person.
Conduct and content
Keep posts professional and useful to colleagues. Harassment, abuse, hateful, discriminatory or deliberately misleading content is not allowed. Posts pass automatic review, and content that fails is held with guidance so you can reword it. Repeated breaches can end your membership.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant Tideway permission to display and distribute it within the platform so members and, where you make it public, visitors can see it.
Companies and jobs
Company pages may only be created by a representative with a verified company email. Job postings must be genuine vacancies. Charging seafarers for placement is prohibited.
Industry content
News, regulatory summaries and AI answers are gathered from public sources for awareness. They are not legal, technical or class advice — always confirm against the original source, which is linked on every item.
Ending your membership
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.
